Dreams and visions are the messengers of our soul; no one can interpret them for us.  For example, trees represent wisdom and illumination to me while they might just be trees in a dream to you.  Sequential dreaming - the kind that picks up where the previous one left off - can be unnerving at first because after 2-3 dreams the realization sets in that a story is being told to you.  The key is to piece them together and discover the message rather than becoming unhinged by the experience.  This is one of my sequential dreams/visions that speaks to me of the wonders of life after death.

I am an old woman dying in a hospital.  At the very moment of death, a man I know from previous dreams appears beside my bed.  He takes my hand in his and says it is time to begin the long journey.  I wake to find myself laying on my back in a forest glade on a green hilltop.  I examine my hands, astonished and delighted to see that my body has been restored to youth.  My companion is nearby, sitting on a log and watching me intently.  He comes to me and takes my hand, and we walk across the glade toward a path at the edge of the hill.  While crossing the glade Jesus suddenly appears and asks, "Well daughter, what do you think?"  I reply that it is wonderful here and I want to stay.  He laughs and smiles then disappears from sight.  The path runs downhill towards a silver river winding away under a green/gold forest canopy.  I hear singing from across the river - the voices are so very beautiful, like softly chiming bells.  We come to the grassy banks of the river, and my companion tells me I must cross alone then he will follow.  I see a woman I met in previous dreams on the other side of the river standing near the eaves of the forest.  She smiles and waves, and comes to the rivers edge to encourage me to cross over.  Once across, she tells me there is a feast being prepared in my honor.  We join hands and walk into the forest along a path that leads us to a large glade.  There are many people here, and the trees surrounding the glade are huge.  I am handed over to a couple of women who take me to bathe and give me a new set of clothes to wear.
